Our favorite pool!

We met friends at our favorite pool....still not HOT HOT.....but warm enough to swim...our summer here has just started off very cool....NO complaints from me...I'm just not a heat person!

At the last minute we had to go buy new swim shorts for bubba.....his were a little to short for his likeing.

Here they all are....dried up and ready to go home..We had a great day!!!

Our community has an annual yard sale...so this year the kids decided to have a toy sale...they gathered all their toys that they no longer had use for and were all hopefull to make a small fortune.... Jeff made pancakes outside for them...he is soooo nice!! That is their favorite to have pancakes on the grill.

You can see the "supervisor" making sure is just so....Cacey is making signs...they got up bright and early!!

Looks like good stuff to me!

They tried to get everyone to stop by hollering "TOY SALE!" Not much luck. Jeff gave them $10.00 each if they bagged up what was left and took it to the goodwill. They were all in agreement. I was proud of them for trying AND got rid of things they no longer need. They had fun!

All Work and No Play.....

Makes me cranky!!!!! I have so much to catch up on now that I am at work semi-full time!!! The past two months have been realy hard physically, emotionally and mentally!!! It has been alot of hard work for all of us but it has been worth it to see some stress relief from my guy and from myself. Money may not bring happiness but man does it help!!! I like working at Dr. P's office he is a great person and the small office is nice not to be overwhelmed with staff and patients, unlike the hospital. Most of the gals their are Christians and that helps with my daily walk in the Lord. So here are A TON of pics from early summer of what little we have been up to........

Near our home they have Friday concerts...the kids love going out there and getting all the "free junk" they give away. Jeffery liked the little kiddie things to play on. My kids forget how "big" they are....they still want to do all the "kiddie" stuff....look at all the other little tiny kids around...he looks like a giant! I made him get off and let the toddlers play.

Well I guess his sister had to join in.....Cacey is on the other round ball spinny thing..

Cass and I just hung out with our Harper.....She is such a sweet girl that Cass....I love hangin with her!!! It was a fun evening....Jeff had to work so he didnt come.

A few blooms...

Our yard work has been coming slow.....the weather has not really been warm and we have not been able to work outside much. We are so thankful for the rain!!!! Here are just a couple blooms of my Iris' in the back yard...I'm anxious to get out and plant more...will have to wait till it is a bit warmer and dryer...

First and Last day of School...

Here is Cacey on her last day of school....she finished a day earlyier than Jeffery and Cassidy because of her graduation.

Cassidy's first day of school....she started a little later because of the new building not being ready for Middle school. I think Jeffery and Cassidy look the most different. I wish I could post them side by side. Yipppeeee for Summer!!!

Cacey Graduates from 5th grade..

Cacey graduated from 5th grade...end of Elementary School...on to Middle School...YIKES!

We are very proud of Cacey!!!!

Here she is in front of the middle school where both she and Cassidy will be next year. This is a brand new building for our school so there is no grass and flowers yet.

OK....graduation over....on to gifts....Gramps gave Cacey money and she bought a game for her DS. Professor something or other and something something???? She has been wanting it since Christmas....she was so excited. Thanks Gramps!!!

It has been a true blessing to see our kids do well in school. Although Cacey does struggle we are very proud of her and support her 100%! Way to go Cacey!!!!

What to eat???

Does anyone else use a menu??? I had piles and piles of old menu's that I have kept....out with the old in with the new!! I love new and easy menu ideas, love the Pioneer Woman blog for those!!

Jeff another year older...

We surprised Jeff when he came home from work on Friday....his birthday is Sunday...

Here he is home from work....the presants will have to wait till SUNDAY!!! It's not your birthday today!!! I love to torture him!!! He is just like the kids to want to open his gifts!!

But luckily Sunday did come and we let him open his gifts first thing...

Gooooo Rockies! He is coaching Jefferys baseball team and they are the Rockies...perfect!!!

Cassidy and I made Jeff's favorite cake...his grandma used to make it for him...Watergate cake mmmm!

The boys had matching shirts for his birthday....Jeffery was so proud about that!! They and Cacey went to a Sky Sox game...perfect day and perfect weather!!! Happy Birthday Hun!!

Good bye, Adios, Sianara, Cio...to Penrose...

I'm movin on....this was my good-bye farewell party at Penrose...I shared it with Bill.. who was retiring. I will miss so many of my friends who I worked with....others I will NOT miss....no names to be mentioned. All in all Penrose was a great place to work and will be a chapter in my life....on to different chapters...
