Trying to prepare...

Lots to try and get ready for...we are leaving for Denver tomorrow to be with Tracy and prepare for Aunt Frannies Rosary and Funeral. I have been thinking of Tracy all week and have had a heavy heart for her sorrow. Went to Sams....and this is what $100.00 looks like....not alot!!
Cassidy and Cacey did not really have "funeral" atire.....no real money to spend either...I bought her these great..."Clarks" boots @the Goodwill for $6....we will just have Gramps spruce them up with some polish.
I also got her 2 outfits.....which I thought were perfect & she liked them....what a blessing between the two outfits I spent......$9.
Tracy asked me to do the "programs" for Aunt Frannie....I was so happy she asked me. Here they are....I wanted to add her favorite color which was green so I thought I would use the green paper. I hope she will be happy. It was so hard to do this....I just kept thinking of how happy my Aunt Frannie always was....and how she just always seemed happy to see me. I could almost here her voice saying "Hi Sweetheart".
oops...sideways but this was the inside....you get the idea. Tracy chose this very appropriate poem to go on the inside of the program:
Because I could not stop for Death,He kindly stopped for me;The carriage held but just ourselvesAnd Immortality.
We slowly drove, he knew no haste, And I had put awayMy labor, and my leisure too,For his civility.
We passed the school, where children stroveAt recess, in the ring;We passed the fields of gazing grain,We passed the setting sun.
Or rather, he passed us;The dews grew quivering and chill,For only gossamer my gown,My tippet only tulle.
We paused before a house that seemedA swelling of the ground; The roof was scarcely visible,The cornice but a mound.
Since then 'tis centuries, and yet eachFeels shorter than the dayI first surmised the horses' headsWere toward eternity.
I'm so thankful that I know the Lord and that I will lean hard on him for the next couple of days for strength!

Wednesday...my favorite day of the week..

I'm not sure why Wednesday is my favorite but it is...and it is Cacey's too. Cacey got ahold of my camera and took pictures of her new cat my friend Vicki gave her (she loves it), anywho...she took pictures with the cat playing her new Nintendo DS....She's funny!
Here is another pose.
Monday Vicki and her sweet Mum sent her Birthday gifts...a jewelery box and a cute cuddley cat. She was so happy!! Thank you Vicki and Mrs. B.
Back to the books for Jeffery.....math is daily homework for him.
And myself....I'm trying to finish this scarf for my sweet baby Cassidy who taught me how to knit. I may be done by Christmas....this is a extra wide scarf.....and my first knitting project. I will post the finished product when done. Happy Wednesday!!!
