Medical Issues...

Poor Harper....today was the day she is to be spayed...she did a great job. Was sad to leave her. She has been such a blessing to me and I just love this little dog!!!
WART BOY! Jeffery had this gross wart on his big toe. Wierd thing is...it would get better and then worse. Decided that we better just get rid of it.
We saw a different DR. ...she was great, what a sweet person. I had to quick wash Jeffery's feet before she came into the room...he had sock lint all over....good think I recently cut his toenails! WHEW!
AND.... it's a gonner. Jeffery did great!

SKY SOX BASEBALL

Cacey and Jeffery sang the national anthem at the Sky Sox game. It was so much fun and after iffffy weather during the week this day was the best day for a baseball game. Nick went with us, Cassidy is sitting with her friend Ashley.
Cacey refused to let me sit by Jeff?????
I just love that Sox the Fox!
Me and Cace....I'm looking rather ragged after work and rushing to get to the game..uuuggh.
Human bowling ball....I think Cacey and Jeffery would like to do this??? We had a fun night!
Te kids did great singing!!! Very proud of them and all their classmates!

Mothers Day...

Mothers Day....no better title in the world in my book! Everyone had gifts for me in the morning..went to church.
Jeff grilled....Gramps came over for a little while.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Mothers Day!!!!

Camp Shady Brook...

Camp Shady Brook....When my sister and I were kids we went to this same camp....it has been so neat to see Cacey and this year Jeffery at the same camp! Here the kids are saying grace before entering for dinner. The weather was perfect!!!
Had an evening campfire with the traditional "camp" songs. I loved every minute of it!!! The camp guides were great!!!!!!
Here is Jeffery and Coach Kay participating in all the songs.
Whooooaaaa, they were really getting into it!
Jeffery and one of his budies Johnathan
They sang Happy Birthday to Jeffery and tradition is....if it is your birthday you have to kiss the "MOOSE" which was actually an Elk.
These are the cabins we stayed in which from what I remember are an upgrade from when we were kids.
Jeffery did some wall climbing.
Looking a bit scarry....they should have never said..."don't look down"
Me and bubba.
They did alot of team building games...this was the whale watcher where with everyone on they had to have this platform balance for 10 sec.
And they did it!!!!
I just loved this cool old bell....they ring it for meal time and for gathering.....
I don't know if you could see these pics, but they are really really old photos of camp Shady Brook. I enjoyed looking at all of them.
Here are all the kids.....we had a great time!!!!
On the way home.....faces of a great time!

Jeffery's Party...

Made these cute goodie bags for Jeffery....idea from a blog of coarse.
Harper stayed with me in my room while I was busy busy!! She is just a doll!!! Had to get a blanket for her she was shivering in the basement. Still hasn't warmed up here much.
Jeffery wanted a baseball party....so thats what we did...play ball. Check out the cool water bottle labels I did....what would I do without all my blog friends....of coarse these are people I do not know but in my own blog world they are MY friends.
Jeff pitched to all the boys...it was pretty cold but I thinkthey still had fun playing....the kid in the back is Bill's son (came from Pueblo), so of coarse it is about 10 degrees warmer up there. We were so happy they came!!
Our son at bat!
Gramps came and watched too.
Yaaaaayyy! Gramps gave us a lift home to prepare "baseball" food.
Perfect cake....SAMS special.
2nd cake...2nd wish.

He did it!!

Gifts..
An unexpected gift from Jeff and Cassidy....they went out early this morning and found Jeffery a drum set at a yard sale.......something I probably would have passed on!!!!
He liked them!!! Bill gave them tips on playing.
What a way to end a party!!! Jeffery and his buddy Nick cloncked heads or head and face...what a shiner!!! And here is a little taste of those drums....hope you like it.

Jeffery turns 10...

Just on time Jeffery was the "Star of the Week" in his class for his birthday...Here is the poster he made....notice that he named his Hero....."Dad"....couln't get any better than that if you ask me!
Birthday morning...
I made cupcakes for Jeffery to take to his class....
Here he is....looking rather old....

Gramps brought Jeffery a great ice-cream cake.....I got really....really sick the morning of his birthday so I missed out on cake and a school performance...first ever that I missed I felt terrible!!! Jeff did a great job at making sure Jeffery was taken care of and that they made it to their performance....I'm soooo lucky for that!!
Hope all your wishes come true buddy!!!

The Boy...The Dad....and a Turkey....

Jeff and Jeffery's first Turkey hunt together.....YEP!!!! He got himself a turkey...
Lew helped them make a "fan" of the turkey feathers...isn't it cool??
Jeff was so proud of him....I was proud of both of them!!!
More of what was left of the turkey..
What a guy!!!
Gramps came over to see Jeffery's catch..... We ate that turke the next day. Jeff breaded and fried the turkey. It was pretty good. I liked the white meat a little more than the dark meat. The kids and Jeff all liked it. Way to go Son!!!! Already putting meat on the table!!!
