Meg and Miranda

Again the pictures are all out of order??? Oh well there are
many so enjoy....even out of order. We were so lucky to spend time with Meg and Miranda
daughters of a friend of mine. Their dad had heart surgery and they got to hang out
with us while their mom, Sonoko, took good care of their dad.

MMMMMMM
The birthday girl....Wow look at that ice cream sandwich...that baby is loaded with mini oreos. What a gal!!
Meg's masterpiece in the works.
Cass enjoying her decorated ice cream sandwich.
My Son.
The girls colored and drew out on the front porch. Jeffery and Jenny's husband played frisbee. I did'nt take a picture of them, darn.
In front of Jenny's house after we went to the resevoir. I am so happy it was overcast and cooled down. It made me HAPPY!! I am NOT a heat person.
Decorating ice cream sandwiches.
Julia wanted to decorate ice cream sandwiches for her birthda...got the idea from the Pioneer Woman blog....ok well her mom got the idea from the Pioneer Woman blog but Julia liked it. Jenny and I are great "blog watchers".

Here they are on a 10 min break from the water.
Meg and Miranda.
Emily and the birthday girl Julia.
My Cace
OK, this was our second day to be able to spend with Meg and Miranda. We went to Pueblo to visit my friend Jenny, and her two daughters Emily and Julia. I am so glad we went!! We celebrated Julia's birthday..."8". I tried not to let the geese bother me, they were all over the grass area and then into the water when they made everyone evacuate the water for a 10 min break. BUT THE GEESE REALLY DID BUG ME. They left poop all over the grass area and all over the side walk...which Jenny stepped in, I was more careful. hee hee. After seeing all this I just could'nt bear the thought of getting in the water. EWWWW, just kinda gross. I just had to stop thinking about it....let it go! Luckily the kids had no problem with it. AAHHH to be a kid!!
WHOSE
FEET
ARE THESE?
The keeper of the feet!
Ahhh to be nice and dry after a day of swimmng. Don't they all look so clean? We were kicked out of the pool. No not for Jefferys weapon use of the floaties, but because of a lightning. Well
I think it was time, almost 31/2 hours in the pool. I Like Megs towell on her head. Some days I wish I could wear that all day long.
Oh the things you can do with a floatie. I will give you one guess who showed her
how to do this? YEP! JEFFERY..he is an expert at it and uses it as a weapon
when he feels he needs to.
Miranda is such a doll. What a smile!!! Makes me smile!!!
My Chubbles...she loves the water.
Well here is a nice shot...Mr. Deep Sea Diver and Mrs. Sun Bather...what a pair!
Miranda, Meg, Cass
Blurry picture of the girs but they sure had fun on the swings.
Wellllll....we got more time at the park than we bargained for. Cass locked the keys in the
van...uuuggghh. Luckily Jeff and I took seperate cars so he was able to run home
and bring back the keys. He was kinda mad at first, but you just gotta stop and think...
She did'nt lock the keys in the car on purpose, nor does anyone who does that, my sister was an expert at it!! So you just gotta do what you gotta do and make the best of it.
We tagged along with Jeff and Jeffery to baseball practice. There is a park there so we threw
balls for Jeff and got to play at the park some. Cacey did'nt come, she had a Birthday party
for her friend Autmn, lucky her, she went to a Sky Sox baseball game and then back to Autmn's
house for a sleepover!! We missed her being with us.
Group picture at Monument Valley pool...again my favorite pool.

"39"...will it hold??

Yep...the last year of my thirties, did'nt I just graduate from
high school 5 years ago? Where did the time go?
I had a great day.. I had to work "YUCK", but it was a great
day, I have such great friends at work it makes
being there not so bad you know? The pics are still out
of order, havent had time to play with it.

Jeff brought home a yummy birthday cake.

This was my favorite gift...its a tripod that you can
attach to just about anything. I showed it to Jeff a long time ago
in a scrapbook magazine I read. I could'nt believe he remembered!!
Put on your sun glasses!! I needed a bit of powder that
day, what was I thinking?

My dear friends, Vicki and Michele...they really started my day

off special. Both of them mean so much to me.

Jeff and the kids set the table for my birthday morning...

"our tradition" for our birthdays. I loved it, and I loved

the big sign!

"Gifts"...Yipppeee, I needed a new shirt!
Here we are "The Bradley Family" celebrating my 39 years
of life. We used my new tripod to take this picture, it did great!
I love my family and all they did for my birthday.
Thanks Guys!!!

"My" Colorado Rockies

Well...I am still trying to figure out how to load these pictures in "order" I still havent figured that out??? Jeff and Jeffery have had a great baseball season, they have only lost 1 game ( we are not sapposed to keep score, but Jeffery likes to know what the unofficial score is ). Jeff has done a AWESOME job coaching, Jeffery will never forget that they did this "together". Jeff is soooo good pretty much at any sport but he truly likes baseball, he and Jeffery practice all the time in the back yard and at our park up the street. I absolutely love going to the games!!

The "sisters" waiting patiently while we stood in line for our "dollar scoop" ice cream.

The MVP's choice "cookie dough"
Cacey's choice "cookies and cream"
After the Tuesday games Jeff has been taking the kids to "dollar" scoop nights at Baskin Robins, the lines have been out the door. It has been a perfect way to end the night of baseball! Cass had a scoop of "recees".
One more shot at Jeffery batting....cool huh?
What a guy!!!!
YIKES!!! I also met new friends, this is a VERY close up of my new friend Sandra, we just seeemed to hit it off and we hang out and talk during the games and practices. Not a great picture but will be a great memory.
The girls have made friend with the other siblings on the team. Cacey has never been a real "doll" kinda girl but for some reason she just loved this little doll that one of the other little girls had. Cacey is so sweet and very very loving, it made me happy to see her play with this baby.
Great Game Boys.....Rockies 8 - A's 7

No better place to play "Rockies" baseball. What a view....this is from the field where they play. Made me feel soooooo blessed!!
Here he is number "10"...picked the number himself...Jeffery is so glad that they were able to be the "Rockies" team.
He is so good at keeping up with everything...plans out his line up the night befor and gets great help from a couple of the boys dads and on grandpa even pitches in to help with line up.

This is a "Coach Pitch" league....Jeff is a really really good pitcher.

Run....Run....Runnnnn...

Dropped Jeffery off at a friends house around the corner, Trevor, they came back to our house to play.....Trevor was kind enough to give Jeffery a lift. Whew....what a Monday.
Well I could have posted a ton more beutiful pictures that I took....We went back to Ellens house where she made homemade icecream in a whopin 25 min. We all had ice cream with fresh peaches and had to say goodbye, what a wonderful visit!!! Thank you Sommers Family!!
Here are the flowers Ellen was frantic about....clearing them out...Betty liked them...said "they reminded her of her mother and she was enjoying them".....I know that feeling.
Jeffery and Nathan...checking out the pond...I think Jeffery was thinking..."there could be some fish to be caught here"

These I actually remember from my Grandmas garden...I asked Betty what they were called and she said "Chicks and Hens" isnt that cute???? I just want to go buy some and have some in my yard....
This was just the cutest little pink flower about the size of a nickle...just thought it looked happy!

This was the oposite side of the garden where we came in.
Here's Ellen....cleaning up....while telling her mother that she needed to clean out one type of flower that was overtaking the Day Lilly area....it was very sweet how she "fussed" over it.

Ellen's father was well known for hybriding his Day Lilly's. Betty takes great care of their garden and I just loved every minute I was there....here are some of Ellens dads Day Lilly's....just BEUTIFUL!!!

I loved seeing Ellen and her mom together..it was funny to see Ellen tell her mom what needed to be done in the garden....what needed to be cleaned out....stuff like that. They are so blessed to have eachother...and to be right around the corner from one another....even a bigger blessing!
WOW!!!! This garden was Gorgeous!!!

It was such a treat when Ellen asked us if we wanted to visit her mother, Betty, who I am also friends with, from church. I knew that her mother had a beutiful garden.....but I had no idea.....

The best part of the day for me was being invited to the Sommers' home for lunch, friends from Church. Ellen made a yummy lunch...turkey sandwiches on croisants with fresh veggies, perfect summer lunch. Our kids play so well together...very relaxing when you don't have to get after anyone for being "crazy". Nathan and Jeffery built an opsticle coars out of the sofa cushins in the basement.."boys"...Allison, Cassidy and Cacey played so nice in Allison's room, you know girl stuff, babies, hair....girl stuff. My girls loved Allisons bedroom, very sweet to watch them play.

WHEW...who knew Monday's could go by so fast and be so fun? Cassidy, Cacey, and Jeffery attended their 2nd day of VBS, this year is the "Olympian" theme. They are having fun...learning Gods Word and keeping busy. Jeffery brought two friends...Trevor and Nick....if you bring friends....you get....CANDY, so Jeffery brought friends....and got CANDY.
