Meet the newest of the Bunch....Crystal and Cookie. Yep we got Guinea Pigs. They are really really cute. Can't bear to hold them but they are cute! Maybe in time I will be brave enough to hold them but I can't get over that they are sort of "mousie"...if thats a word.
Cassidy is certainly in heaven with them and she just loves holding them, which is good because they like to be held. Crystal (on left) is a year old, and Cookie (on right) is 6 months old.
Cacey loves them too. She is partial to Cookie more...I'm not sure why but she is.
We bought the Guinies from a listing on craigs list. Cassidy has been saving her money with baby sitting and giving Piano lessons. WELLL have you seen the price of Guinea Pigs and their stuff lately, YEP expensive. I guess nobody let them know we are in a recession. So on I went to craigs list and there they were for sale "2". We got a great deal and all their "stuff" came with them. The gal we got them from bought them for her two nephews who were living with her...they moved and the mom did not want to take the Guinies. We were happy to take them and Cassidy was able to afford the price she was selliing them for. Thank you Auntie Jeannie for the extra help with the dough. We had to disinfect the cages....I'm kinda picky about that sort of stuff...ewwww.
This is Crystal...she's the chubby one.
I hope they will be happy here in our Colorado home, they sure have brought happiness to my gang!!
