Birthday, Baptisim, and Mothers Day...

Jeffery's 12th Birthday Party....we celebrated with going to the Manitou arcade with some of his close buddies.

Here they all are on the coin rides for kiddies.....

Remember these? I only remember these "knock out" games at carnivals or at the fair....The boys liked it!

Trevor...

Cacey...

Tyler...

Skee ball and more games....

Yeeeee Haw! Ride e'm Jonathan!!

Not going too far on this bike!!!

They all tried the "natural" spring water in Manitou......Jeffery always has to be "funny"

Jeff and I....

Then we went to Old Chicago for some Pizza and Pool...

Cacey and Jeff were Pool partners...

Went to this "mini" car show...mostly cars just come to this old parking lot and park....the boys liked looking at all the cars....Jeffery is really into cars right now!!!

Then back to our place for cake and icecream......the boys all wanted to light the candles....

I thought Jeffery was going to chop out the flames...HA!

Sunday (Mothers Day) the kids were welcomed into the church as members.....It was so neat because I know the kids have worked hard and it meant sooo much. I loved that our Pastor prayed for all of them!

THEN......they were finally Baptised! Symbolizing that they are sealed in Gods Covenant.

Cacey.....we were so happy that Drew, our youth pastor, assisted with the Baptisim. It meant alot to the kids and even more to me!!!!

Cassidy.....

And finally Jeffery......

How Happy!!!!

Here we all are outside the church, my dad, Tracy and Elyse came...Jeff was so sick....we were in the Emergency room the night before...he had a wierd allergic reaction, to we dont know what, but his lips swelled HUGE!!! It was actually kind of scarry!!! Welll they loaded him up on Meds...which Jeff is not good at taking alot....and he was pretty pale through service.....glad he made it through the Baptisim....Praise God!!!

Then off to a HIKE!!!! I wanted to do Seven Bridges, since it was such a beutiful day and Tracy was going to be here......Jeff stood home....just not well enough to hike...bummer!

Here we are ready to start....

Bridge 1

My Handsome son...

Bridge 2

Bridge 3

Bridge 4

Bridge 5

Bridge 6

Man...he's really strong.....

And Yipppeeee we made it...Bridge 7...

The kids wanted to take their shoes off and soak in the water....they didnt realize how cold the water still is....

Seven Bridges was soooo fun, and couldnt be happier that Tracy was here....she really made my day and it meant so much that she came for the kids Baptisim....I love you Tracy!!!!

622.....cant forget this pole....Seven Bridges is not marked.....we almost passed it but now we know to look for this pole......Right TRACE?

This nice lady asked if we wanted her to take all of our picture....so here we are....

If you look real close that is Cassidy in the middle of the trail who ran ahead of us....welll she stood right in the middle of the trail with her hands on her hip and did not move for ANYONE who was approaching her.....she is sooooo funny. We laughed at her!!

And kind of a sad ending......Max was pooped at the end and kept laying wherever there was shade....or so I thought.....When we got home we noticed Max had wore off most of his pads from his paws....I felt terrible.....Had to take him to the vet on Monday...had to have laser treatment...antibiotics, cream for his paws and pain meds.....WHO KNEW???? I thought he was just over heated and tired. Other than that I had a wonderful weekend....I loved being with Cassidy, Cacey, and Jeffey....my babies....I love them so much and being their MOM is the greatest gift God has given to me.....
